Tools for Schools 2025 Event
Get ready to be part of something special just for you! Educators are so important to our community and we are bringing individuals and companies together to support your efforts in the classroom. One way we do this is by taking in material donations and providing them at a low cost at the Greener Good Creative Reuse Resale shop in Arlington Heights, IL. The second way is through our second Tools for Schools event to provide educators with free supplies on July 16 - 19th.

We have put together guidelines for this event to keep it a good experience with parking, limited space and the amount of supplies in mind. At this time educators will be able to fill up to two grocery paper bags full of materials. There will be some large and various items available for purchase. We hope to be listing items online for you to pre-purchase so check after July 11th for updates on this effort.
To participate in this event:
-
Be in a role as a teacher, instructional specialist or librarian at a Title I school.
-
Be a brand new educator in grades Pre-K - 12 at a public or private school.
-
Bring a school ID or letter from the principal indicating your employment for 2025-26.
-
Fill out an online form for pre-registration and pay $10 to reserve your spot. You can put this $10 towards a purchase or use it as credit in the Greener Good shop during the next school year. This is necessary to best serve the most teachers possible. If people sign up and then don't show up it takes away the time for other educators. The reservation page will have more details.

Volunteer for the event
We have a lot of items for this Tools for Schools event and having educator involvement is so important so you can shape the event to best meet classroom needs. Please visit our volunteer page for opportunities to volunteer before and during the event. Those who volunteer will get to see what is available before the shopping begins!

We will be collecting feedback after the event and look forward to hearing from you.
